Truck strikes motorcycle at 50th and I-27

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A rider was taken to the hospital after a truck hit his motorcycle on Saturday evening.
The crash happened around 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of 50th and I-27.
Officials with the Lubbock Police Department say the motorcycle ran a red light before it was struck by the truck.
The rider was taken to UMC with non-life threatening injuries.
Names have not been released as of Saturday night.
