LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A hearing for James Holland, the step-father of murdered teen Holli Jeffcoat, has now been re-scheduled.
Right now, Holland is held on a $2 million dollar bond. He's charged with sexual abuse of a child against a different family member. Deputies arrested him in March.
Holland is not charged in Jeffcoat's case at this time. Jeffcoat was found murdered in her home south of Idalou in February.
Holland's defense is asking to have his bond lowered.
A hearing scheduled for May 10 had to be postponed.
That hearing has now been reset for Friday, May 27.
