Police investigating North Lubbock home invasion

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Lubbock police responded to a home invasion in the 5400 of Marshall Street just after 2 a.m. Tuesday.

Police say six friends were in the garage of a residence playing cards with the overhead garage door open. Three suspects walked up to the garage, two armed with handguns and one with a rifle.

All three suspects were wearing ski masks. The suspects demanded the victims empty their pockets.

The suspects made off with the victims' wallets and cell phones. No one was injured.

Police say the victims were able to give them a description of the vehicle and weapon.

While patrolling the 200 block of Cherry, officers found a vehicle that matched the description. After investigating, police found a weapon inside the vehicle that matched the victims' description.

The vehicle was towed to be processed.

The suspects are described as black males 17 to 25 years of age.
