LPD: Search on for Tobacco Road attempted robbery suspects

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Lubbock police are searching for two men who tried to rob Tobacco Road at gunpoint.

It happened around 11:30 p.m. Monday in the 2900 block of Parkway Drive.

Employees say they were closing up when two men broke the drive-thru window and demanded money, according to reports from the Lubbock Police Department.

Police say one suspect pointed a handgun at the victims while the other threw a duffel bag in the window, demanding cash.

An employee hit the panic button and the suspects left the scene before anything was taken.

The first suspect is described as an Hispanic male wearing a white jacket and a bandanna over his face. The second suspect is an Hispanic male wearing a white jacket, ball cap and thick rimmed glasses with a bandanna across his face.

The Lubbock Police Department urges anyone with information about this case to call Crime Line at 806-741-1000.
