Tips for a better burger from Beef 'O' Brady's

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The Memorial Day holiday is often seen as the unofficial start of summer, with that comes some grilling.

It's hard to beat the American classic, according to Benny Delgado and Brendon Sanders from Beef 'O' Brady's.

The two stopped by the KCBD studios to offer a few tips for grilling a better burger.

"The best thing to do is keep it simple," said Delgado, the restaurant's kitchen manager. "Set you burger, almost forget it, flip it once. It locks those juices in. Simple ingredients would be kosher salt and pepper. That's as basic as you can get. Great juicy burger."

Sanders, the restaurant manager at Beef 'O' Brady's, offered some ideas to spice up your burger if that's your wish. He suggests making a something similar to their 'Amarillo Firecracker Burger,' which boasts fried jalapenos, pepper jack cheese, and a spicy jalapeno mayonnaise.
