LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Three former Texas Tech football players were indicted on Tuesday, charged with burglary of a habitation.

Robert Castaneda, Trace Keaton Ellison, and Dakota Allen are all accused of breaking into a home in the 4300 block of 43rd Street back in December.

The victims say they left before Christmas and returned to their central Lubbock home on Jan. 9 to find electronics and guns stolen. Police were able to recover some of the guns that had been sold.

Police say Castaneda admitted to the theft and identified other players allegedly involved.

All three players were removed from the football roster on May 5.
