Lubbock man indicted, charged with robbery, beating victim with metal pipe

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A Lubbock grand jury indicted 19-year-old Jacob Timmons on charges of aggravated robbery on Tuesday.
Police say the robbery happened on May 5 in the 1300 block of Avenue A.
Officers say that's when Timmons grabbed a metal pipe and hit the man at least nine times.
The man was taken to UMC with non life-threatening injuries.
Timmons remains behind bars tonight on a $20,000 bond.
