LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A Lubbock County grand jury indicted a man for a shooting earlier this month that sent two people to the hospital.

26-year-old Jerry Garza was indicted on two charges of aggravated assault.

Police say he shot Kimbra Andrade and Geory Smith.

Officers were called to the 4800 block of Canton Avenue, in the early morning hours of June 7.

In a statement to police, Andrade said she had known the Garza for many years, and that he mentioned quote - "seeing demons" before the shooting.

Garza remains behind bars on a $500,000 bond.
