Memorial service scheduled for mother killed in Panhandle train crash
AMARILLO, TX (KCBD) - A memorial service has been scheduled for an Amarillo mother who died in the BNSF train crash in Panhandle on June 28.
Lara Gayle Taylor was 45.
Her obituary describes her as an adoring mother and an avid athlete, who took pride in staying fit.
She was born in North Kansas City, Missouri
Lara is survived by her only son, Jacob Taylor of Colorado Springs, CO; mother, Patricia Pembridge and her husband, Paul of Kansas City, MO; two brothers: Randy Morris and his wife, Debbi of Gloucester, VA and David Morris of Kansas City, MO; best friend and sister-by-heart, Jen Clarke of Kansas City, MO.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at the Harmony Vineyard Church, 600 N.E. 46th Street Kansas City, MO 64116.
A Memorial Service celebrating Lara's life will immediately follow at 11 a.m. at the church with Rev. John Brown officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to a Trust Fund to be established for her son, Jacob Taylor.
