LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Right now, the search continues for 33-year-old Jeffrey Hargrove, however, investigators with the Lubbock Police Department believe he is still in the Lubbock area and not in immediate danger.

The Texas Tech student was last seen on Saturday, Nov. 5. His mother reported him missing last Monday. Investigators are still actively working the case to find Hargrove to check on his welfare.

Tiffany Pelt with the Lubbock Police Department says he was staying at the Overton Hotel, which is where his cell phone and wallet were found.

"They've reviewed surveillance video, that's how we know that the last place we saw him was at 7:30 Saturday night at the Overton Hotel. He was seen leaving by himself," Pelt said.

"Our investigators have also been reviewing his phone and financial records, hoping that might lead to areas where he might've been," she said.

Hargrove is 6 feet tall, weighing about 180 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes.

If you have any information on where Hargrove may be, you are urged to call Crime Line at (806) 741-1000.
