LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A Lubbock man is out on bail after he was arrested for online solicitation of a minor.
Back on Oct. 20, undercover agents started an online solicitation of a minor chat operation here in Lubbock.
According to a search warrant, a deputy posing as a 13-year-old female started talking to 24-year-old Grant Jones.
The deputy reported that Jones asked for an address, so authorities set up a sting operation.
When Jones arrived, the Texas DPS Special Response Team arrested him and booked him into the Lubbock County Detention Center.
According to court documents, Jones has a criminal history including arrests for criminal mischief and possession of marijuana in a drug-free zone.
