LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The latest computer models are showing a cold front pushing through the area overnight Tuesday.

This frontal boundary will cool our temperatures into the 60s and 70s Wednesday afternoon.

The cold front was originally forecast to stall northeast of Lubbock, but computer models are showing agreement that it will pass through Lubbock and keep temperatures cooler than expected Wednesday afternoon.

The effects of the cold front will be short lived as we warm into the 70s and 80s again Thursday.

Another frontal boundary could bring temperature challenges across the area late Friday and Saturday.
