LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Thursday is the closing day the Angel Tree program with the Salvation Army. Gifts will be accepted until 10 p.m at the South Plains Mall, between JC Penney and Bealls.
The public also has an option of returning gifts to the main office at 1111 16th St., according to a Salvation Army news release. There the organization will also accept cash donations for those who want to become a sponsor but do not have time to buy a gift.
This time of the month is also near the end of the Kettle Campaign, which will end on Saturday. The goal for this year's kettles is $250,000.
