LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Paul's Project - Grace Campus is asking for public help as they work to keep the homeless warm during this bitter cold weather.
They posted this notice on their Facebook page Sunday night:
The bitter cold temperatures we are currently experiencing are extremely dangerous to those who are the most vulnerable.
Paul's Project-Grace Campus has approximately 85 homeless people on-site, as well as extra individuals in our emergency shelter during these harsh winter nights.
We are currently seeking monetary donations to be used to purchase specific-safe heaters, fuel for the existing heaters in the barn, and additional supplies for people in our emergency shelter.
Paul's Project is a 501c3; all donations are tax deductible. Paul's Project-Grace Campus doesn't accept any government funding. We are locally funded by our caring community. You can donate and learn more at www.paulsprojectlubbock.org
If you prefer to purchase a heater directly, here is a link to the heaters that are safest for the tiny home environment: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Portable-Buddy-Heater/14710768
