Reward offered, suspect wanted after multiple suspicious fires in Snyder

SNYDER, TX (KCBD) - Officials with the Snyder Volunteer Fire Department need the public's help in identifying the person(s) responsible for multiple fires that have happened in the same area of the town.

The first fire happened on Nov. 4 around 11:40 p.m. at 811 30th Street. The house was vacant at the time of the fire. The second fire happened on Jan. 16 around 9:15 p.m. inside another vacant home at 3303 Ave. K.

Both fires are suspicious in nature, according to officials.

A $1,000 reward is being offered to anyone with information that leads to the arrest of the person(s) responsible for the fires.

If you believe you have information that could help, call Fire Marshal Hines at the State Fire Marshal's Office at 1-877-434-7345.

The Snyder Fire Marshal Office, State Fire Marshal office and Snyder Police department are all working together to solve these fires.
