The Lubbock County Office of Emergency Management is reminding residents to register their storm shelters so first responders will be able to find them during an emergency.

The process can be done online at http://www.co.lubbock.tx.us/department/division.php?fDD=33-213

This webpage will be for any citizen living in Lubbock County.

The county encourages citizens living in the City of Lubbock to register with the City of Lubbock Storm Shelter Registry at https://mylubbock.us/departmental-websites/departments/fire-rescue/fire-prevention/storm-spotting/storm-shelter-registration

This process is free to the Citizens of Lubbock County.

Citizens that do not have access to the internet can contact the Lubbock County Office of Emergency Management for assistance in completing their registration.
