LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Firefighters from Lubbock and the Woodrow Volunteer Fire Department were called to a five-acre grass fire at 1585 and Chicago on Wednesday evening.
Trucks from Fort Worth joined in the fight as part of the Texas Intrastate Fire Mutual Aid System (TIFMAS). They arrived on Sunday.
Texas A&M forest service says the fire is 100 percent contained and two homes were saved.
