LUBBOCK, TX (AP) - After showers and storms dumped over an inch of rain in some areas of the South Plains, Wednesday will continue the chance of rain for some areas.
However, coverage will be scattered and amounts will not be as heavy as those on Tuesday evening.
Rain may linger into early evening, along with the clouds and temps will be chilly. I expect temps to range from the low 30s to highs only between 55 to 60 degrees for the region. Skies will remain cloudy until early Thursday.
Thursday afternoon will bring some sunshine and a slow warming trend. The daytime highs will only edge to the low to mid 60s. However, it will be sunny and warmer on Friday and Saturday with a cool down on Easter.
Gusty winds will diminish in the afternoon Tuesday and warm and gusty winds will return by Friday.
