First Alert Forecast: A Spring Chill for your Thursday

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Showers and a few thundershowers over the area overnight and into early Thursday. Most of the rain will be light, but there will be some occasional thunder and lightning with a few of the storms.
The morning will be chilly with a low around 40 degrees and northerly winds at 15-25mph. The winds will remain gusty through the day and diminish late afternoon. Temps will get colder Thursday night into Friday morning with a low in the mid-30s in Lubbock by Friday am.
It will be warmer on Friday as daytime highs climb to near 70 degrees underneath an partly cloudy sky. Winds will be on the increase Friday afternoon to help the warming trend since they will be from the south at 15-25 mph.
Saturday will be a nice one with south winds, mostly sunny skies and a high around 80 degrees.
As for Easter, clouds and colder with highs in the upper 50s to low 60s and some breezy north winds.
