LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Southwest works to keep families close during their child's serious illness or injury.
Located in Lubbock, the Ronald McDonald House serves as a "home-away-from-home" for families of critically ill children who are receiving medical treatment in local hospital.
More than 400 families are served by the Ronald McDonald House each year.
The home has private guest rooms, home cooked meals, laundry facilities and more.
To help with these costs, the organization is hosting The Red Shoe Shindig.
The gala includes dinner, entertainment, dancing and an auction.
The money raised will benefit stay here on the South Plains, helping local families.
This year's benefit dinner and auction will be at the Overton Hotel & Conference Center on Friday, April 13.
Tickets are $150.
They also have tables and sponsorships available.
