ELECTION RESULTS: Proposition A passes with 52 percent voting YES

(KCBD) - Lubbock voters went to the polls on Saturday to choose city and school board candidates, and to decide the future of the Municipal Auditorium and Coliseum.

Voters decided to abandon Lubbock Municipal Auditorium and Coliseum. Proposition A passed by 526 votes, with 7,757 FOR and 7,231 AGAINST after Saturday's votes were counted.
