(KCBD) - Isolated strong storms are likely late Tuesday afternoon into early evening. Some may become severe, with the main threats again damaging wind gusts and large hail.

This will have locally heavy rain and dangerous lightning.

While many areas will miss out rain - and severe weather - there will be the potential for the weather to disrupt the normal daily flow. For this reason, the KCBD First Alert Weather team is designating today a First Alert Weather Day.

Spotty storms will be possible overnight, with locally heavy rain and frequent lightning possible.

As of early Tuesday morning, we have not designated Wednesday a First Alert Weather Day (FAWD), but will be looking at the situation throughout today. Nocturnal storms look possible Wednesday night, and potentially most nights through the Memorial Day holiday weekend.
