The "I Love 90's Country Music" benefit concert scheduled for Friday, June 1 will be rescheduled due to extreme heat.

CASA of the South Plains released this statement on Tuesday:

We regret to announce that due to the anticipated extreme heat predicted for the City of Lubbock on Friday, June 1, 2018, the "I Love 90's Country Music" benefit concert featuring Tracy Byrd, Rick Trevino, and Deryl Dodd scheduled for that evening has been postponed to Friday, December 14, 2018.

Our primary concern is to ensure the safety of all fans, sponsors, and supporters of CASA of the South Plains. Select-a-Seat will contact ticket buyers with the options of moving their ticket purchase to the new scheduled concert date or they can choose to receive a full refund. If you've received complimentary tickets, they will be honored on the new date. We apologize about the delay and look forward to celebrating our 25th anniversary with the community on Friday, December 14th.

For up-to-date information, questions, or comments about the concert, please email casaconcert@casaofthesouthplains.org or call (806) 763-2272.
