RALLS, TX (KCBD) - Residents in Crosby County are cleaning up from a strong storm that blew through the area late Friday afternoon.

The official word from the National Weather Service is that Ralls was hit by 69-mile per hour straight line winds just after 6 p.m.

In Crosbyton, the city is telling its residents Xcel Energy will be working overnight to restore power after 12 power poles were knocked down during the storm.

Residents in Ralls are being asked to conserve water as Xcel works to restore power.

The city says the power may be out overnight into the early morning hours.
