SUDAN, TX (KCBD) - Residents of the town of Sudan are currently without water after an afternoon incident that disrupted a water line. However, officials are hopeful that will end soon.

Around noon Friday, a contractor cut into a main water line in town, Harold Beirman, code compliance inspector with the town, said. That has left the entire town without water and officials cannot say yet when the line can be fixed.

They are guessing that it could be back up and running before Saturday. Once the water is on the town will issue a boil water notice.
