LAMB COUNTY, TX (KCBD) - Troopers with the Department of Public Safety have identified a man killed in a Wednesday morning crash in Lamb County.
The crash happened around 8:45 a.m. about four miles east of Littlefield on US 84. Troopers say the roadway was wet and 31-year-old John Albert Stowers III, of Lubbock, lost control and slid off the roadway and flipped.
Stowers was taken to the hospital in Lubbock by EMS. He was pronounced dead just before 10 a.m. that day.
Troopers say Stowers was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
