Troopers identify 2 killed, 1 critically injured in crash south of Ralls

CROSBY COUNTY, TX (KCBD) - Troopers with the Department of Public Safety have identified two people who were killed in a crash that happened Sunday morning about five miles south of Ralls.

Troopers say a vehicle was traveling north on TX 207, just south of CR 188 in Crosby County. The passenger tires traveled onto the grassy area on the east side of the roadway. The driver lost control and the vehicle rolled several times and landed in the middle of the roadway.

The driver, 50-year-old Nova Lea Montgomery from Big Spring was pronounced dead on the scene. Brayden Michael Sizenbach, 18, of Big Spring was also killed in the crash.

A 16-year-old, Austyn Reah Montgomery of Big Spring was brought to University Medical Center with critical injuries. Austyn was the only person in the vehicle who was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

This is an ongoing investigation by DPS Highway Patrol Troopers.
