ANTON, TX (KCBD) - Details have emerged from an ongoing investigation through the Hockley County Sheriff's Office that involved firearms, vehicles and guns.

Sheriff's deputies were originally called on June 10 to the home of 48-year-old Jimmy Jiminez of Anton with a report of an ongoing assault, according to the Levelland & Hockley County News-Press.

Deputies asked to search the home for the alleged assault victim and Jiminez agreed. They found a large number of narcotics in plain view, then went to get a search warrant to search the rest of the house.

In all, deputies found methamphetamine, stolen handguns and rifles, and two stolen vehicles. Jiminez was arrested and was bonded out June 12 on two bonds of $2,500, according to the News-Press.
