3 charged in robbery of Lubbock nail salon

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Three people have been charged with aggravated robbery and organized crime after Dove Nails was robbed at gunpoint on Friday afternoon.
According to the police report, witnesses say Carlos Armando Carrasco held them at gunpoint, robbed four people inside the business, and took money from the cash register before fleeing the scene.
Police believe Krista Rae Allensworth drove the vehicle as they left the scene, and James Douglas Booth was caught attempting to flee when police spotted the suspect vehicle in the 2100 block of 87th Street.
Carrasco, Allensworth, and Booth were all charged with aggravated robbery and organized crime.
Travis Lee Jackson was charged with drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia. Christa Soto (not pictured) was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after a search of the house.
Police were called to Dove Nails at 7006 University Avenue around 12:20 p.m. Friday.
