Family displaced after kitchen fire in northeast Lubbock

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The Lubbock Fire Department responded to a fire at 2:58 p.m. Saturday at 1510 East Tulane.

When crews arrived they saw smoke showing and went into the house to attack the fire, according to an LFR news release. Fire damage was mostly contained to the kitchen and attic above the kitchen.

The entire house suffered from smoke damage and the family living there was displaced.

Currently, the Lubbock Fire Marshal is investigating the incident.
