Fire destroys home early Tuesday morning

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The Lubbock Fire Marshal's Office is investigating a fire that destroyed a home in the 1100 block of E. Newcomb Street, which is near the intersection of MLK and East Regis, south of the airport.
Firefighters were called at 5:35 a.m.
The first unit on scene reported a single-wide trailer and three sheds on the property were engulfed in flames.
The resident was not home at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported. The home is considered a total loss.
At this time the cause of the fire has not been determined.
