WBU picked 5th in SAC Football Preseason Poll

PLAINVIEW, TX (KCBD) - For the first time ever, the Sooner Athletic Conference will have football and a nine-team conference.

Thursday morning, the Conference announced their coaches poll and the Wayland Baptist Pioneers were picked tied for fifth.

T-5: Lyon (30)

T-5: Wayland Baptist (30)

7: Ottawa-Arizona (22)

8: Texas College (16)

9: Texas Wesleyan (15)

The Pioneers will kick the 2018 season off on Sept. 8 at home against Austin College.
