Christmas in July to benefit 9-year-old recovering from brain surgery

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The Garden at 1801 Buddy Holly Ave is hosting a Christmas in July event Wednesday to help Lili Baltazar from Lamesa pay her medical bills after enduring three rounds of emergency brain surgery last month.

LiLi is 9 years old had a massive brain bleed (aneurysm and hemorrhage) back on July 15. She had to endure three brain surgery operations within 24 hours.

She's currently doing great in rehab and will be at the event Wednesday night.

All the money they make during the event will be donated to her for medical bills.

They also invite people to bring gift cards or a new toy for LiLi.
