Man stabbed during argument with neighbor
LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A man has been taken to UMC with life-threatening injuries after a stabbing on Wednesday afternoon.
Police were called to The Loft Apartments at 4614 67th Street at 3:38 p.m.
The police report indicates that this started as a fight between two neighbors, one with a knife, one with a gun.
Police say they heard the men shouting as they drove up. They initially saw the victim sitting in front of an apartment while a neighbor was holding a white towel over his injury.
The suspect was nearby, shouting that the victim would not have been stabbed if he hadn't pulled a gun on him.
Both men were taken to University Medical Center for treatment and the suspect was taken into custody.
