National Night Out is a community building campaign that is designed to heighten crime-prevention awareness, generate support for participation in local anticrime programs, and strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships.
This campaign will send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back. Parks and Recreation is hosting three National Night Out celebrations at the centers listed below. We appreciate staff from the Lubbock Police Department and Lubbock Fire Department for participating in these events.
