Reagor-Dykes issues apology to customers, friends, employees

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - At noon on Wednesday, Reagor-Dykes Auto Group released a letter of apology to their customers, friends and employees who have been affected by the recent lawsuit and bankruptcy.

The Reagor Dykes Auto Group team would like to apologize to all of our customers, friends and employees who have had to suffer any type of inconvenience during the last couple of weeks.

We never want to let anyone down but we have had our hands tied for the past 2 weeks.  We intend and we want to address every situation we can with solutions as soon as we possibly can.

Thank you for your understanding and patience during this time.  We pray that we will be able to provide solutions very soon.

Thank you to those who have been praying for our team and for a positive resolution to these circumstances.

Reagor Dykes Auto Group

According to federal court documents filed on July 31, 2018, Ford Motor Credit Company is suing Reagor-Dykes dealerships, Bart Reagor and Rick Dykes. Ford says the dealerships have an outstanding balance of more than $116 million, and currently more than $41 million is due now.

As of August 1, 2018, Reagor-Dykes Dealerships filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy for multiple locations across Lubbock, Amarillo and other parts of the south plains.
