Jelani Ashley, suspect in Monday game room robbery, in police custody

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The Lubbock Police Department has taken Jelani Ashley the 20-year-old Lubbock man who was wanted for aggravated robbery in connection to a Monday robbery in the Coyote Moon Game Room.

LPD's Persons Crime Unit, SWAT officers and officers with Texas Anti-Gang unit were executing a search warrant at a home in the 1900 block of 37th Street, according to an LPD news release.

Officers were searching the home and found Ashley. He then ran from the scene and after a short pursuit took him into custody. As of about 1:45 p.m. officers were still on the scene.
