Lubbock man pleads guilty to stealing mail from homes

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Forty-one-year-old Zachrius Jackson pled guilty in a district court for fraudulent use or possession of identifying information.

Jackson was said to have names, bank account and routing numbers, driver's license numbers, social security numbers and addresses of victims, according to an indictment. He will now serve five years in prison.

Documents also state Jackson held 50 or more stolen items.

Jackson was arrested in March after surveillance video footage of him stealing was released by homeowners in February. A victim in the case said there were others arrested as well and they are all awaiting trial in federal and district courts.
