Reagor-Dykes fires bankruptcy attorneys

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - According to new documents filed with the bankruptcy court on Friday afternoon, as of August 21, 2018, the Chief Restructuring Officer for Reagor-Dykes Auto Group informed their attorney David Langston that they decided to go with another law firm to serve and act as counsel for their case. The CRO informed Langston that effective immediately the services of Mullin Hoard & Brown LLP were no longer necessary.

On August 22, Mullin Hoard & Brown LLP contacted the CRO, counsel for Rick Dykes and counsel for Bart Reagor, and informed them of the pending deadlines to help with the transition. The documents also say Mullin Hoard & Brown LLP will work with new counsel for RDAG on any transition after the firm's withdrawal.

The documents mention the law firm of Foley & Lardner, LLP could possibly be employed as the new counsel for Reagor-Dykes Auto Group.

The court documents are asking for an order to file its final application for payment of fees and expenses.
