Lubbock firefighters help 3 escape house fire through window

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The Lubbock Fire Marshal's Office is investigating a house fire that sent three people to the hospital.
Lubbock Fire Rescue responded to 5540 1st Street for reports of smoke coming from the house. When crews arrived, they found a fire in the garage area. Some firefighters worked to contain and put out the fire while others helped an adult and two minors escape the house through a window.
The three were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
At this time the cause of the fire is unknown.
