Reagor-Dykes customer receives title application after 3 months of silence
LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - We have been following the saga of one customer directly affected by the Reagor-Dykes Auto Group bankruptcy filing.
Back in June, Harold Jensen bought a truck from RDAG with cash and now, three months later, he still doesn't have a title.
He say it's been a nightmare, but he was able to get a solution on Friday. KCBD's cameras were there as he went into Reagor Dykes' headquarters to meet with them.
"Well today I am going to go inside Reagor Dykes headquarters and request the contract they asked me to come and sign to get a Texas title in my name," Jensen said this morning.
After months of silence, the RDAG office asked him to come in so he could fill out papers for his title.
"I will not sign anything, we will be taking the document to our corporate attorneys for review and hopefully for approval to get it signed and back to them so we can get this title and this vehicle licensed," he said. "Hopefully get this ordeal settled quickly."
He headed into the Reagor Dykes office with zero expectations except hopefully getting that piece of paper, the title application. He was only in there about 10 minutes.
"I'm happy to tell you I have an application for Texas title. I will copy this and send it over to attorneys for review and approval and along with this, they gave me a dealer reassignment for a title motor vehicle which means I can now have this actually titled, which will allow us to get this licensed and legal in the state of Texas," Jensen said.
Jensen says he's just happy to have some answers to his long-running problem, but hopes other customers can get solutions, too.
"I pray that they can come down and get the same satisfaction that I received today and get whatever dilemma they are dealing with in a quick, timely fashion and hopefully Reagor Dykes will make it right with everybody," Jensen said.
Jensen says his next steps will be to send a copy of the title application to his attorney and once it's approved he will sign it and send it back to RDAG.
