NewsChannel 11 has learned a confession has been made in connection with missing teen Joanna Rogers.

Sources tell us Rosendo Rodriguez admitted to killing Rogers and dumping her body in the landfill. That's the same place Summer Baldwin's body was discovered. Rodriguez is charged with killing Baldwin and stuffing her body in a suitcase. He has not yet been charged with Roger's murder.

Rogers disappeared from her south Lubbock home May 2004. Rodriguez was named the primary suspect in her disappearance last December after detectives learned the two had chatted online.

News of the confession comes as his attorneys are apparently negotiating with the Lubbock District Attorney's Office.
