The Lady Chaps responded with a 10-0 run in the third and took a 55-49 lead after three quarters.

LCU stretched the lead to 9 in the fourth quarter, only to see the game head to overtime tied at 66.

Olivia Robertson hit a shot with 33.7 seconds left in OT to give LCU a 72-71 lead, but Southwest Oklahoma State scored to retake the lead 73-72 with 19.9 seconds left in overtime. Then down 3, Maddi Chitsey hit a big three-pointer with two seconds left to force a second overtime.

Back in December, these two teams met in Oklahoma and LCU led by 8 after 3 quarters only to see Southwestern Oklahoma State come back in the 4th to win 77-75.

LCU finishes the season 32-5, winning their last 11 games to earn the NCAA Division II National Championship.

Congrats to Steve Gomez and the Lady Chaps.
