Mouseketeer was lifetime MS sufferer

Actress Annette Funicello, probably the most famous original Mouseketeer died today at her home in California after a nearly 50-year struggle with multiple sclerosis.
She tried every treatment including brain surgery and even a controversial procedure to open blocked arteries, but her doctor said the attempts did not improve her condition.
