Don't forget a great opportunity tomorrow, October 18th, to get your kids equipped with the most important fashion accessory on a bike…a helmet.
The CDC says in a recent year, there were more than 500,000 bike related injuries and 800 deaths. So, UMC is teaming up with the West Texas Cycling Association to provide a bike safety program for kids in our area, and each will leave with a free helmet.
You have two locations to choose from. The first program will be at Sam's club from 10 to noon tomorrow.
Or, you can wait and go to the south plains mall between noon and 4, outside JC Penny's.
