More than 100 middle school girls will visit the Science Spectrum on Saturday afternoon to take a closer look at careers involving science.
The girls will gather at the Science Spectrum to take part in Women In Science Endeavors, or WISE.
The program is designed to bring awareness and interest to educational and career opportunities not traditionally pursued by women that come from rural backgrounds.
The girls will hear from women who currently have careers in medicine, engineering, atmospheric sciences and more.
