LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A suspect is now in custody after reportedly firing a gun inside a Lubbock business Tuesday afternoon.
Officials say around 2 p.m. an employee armed with a gun walked inside the Smallwoods business at 34th Street and Flint and fired one shot.
At least one employee was inside the business at the time of the shooting.
Police say the suspect, now identified as 51-year-old James Adriel Moreno, is related to the family that owns the business. They say Moreno got into an argument with another family member and fired a shot.
Lubbock police briefly blocked off 34th Street as a precaution.
