Salvation Army Serves Christmas Luncheon

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The Salvation Army had a huge turnout for their annual Christmas lunch.
Around 100 people came throughout the meal to volunteer.
Volunteers did not just make food, today they waited on their guests to create a restaurant style Christmas dinner experience.
Michelle Hunter's family brought 15 friends and family members to help out.
"Salvation Army is providing hope to families that may have not have had anywhere else to go and fellowship today, many of us will be fellowshipping with family," she said. "This is their family."
Michelle says it was not hard getting so many family members together all at once because contributing to their community is a privilege.
"It's fulfilling," she said. "Money can't buy what we feel now. Money can't buy what we've been able to give back."
