Levelland boutique asking for public's help in theft case

LEVELLAND, TX (KCBD) - Police are looking for a pair of shoplifters caught on camera in Levelland.
It happened on Wednesday at a local boutique.
Now, the video is being shared online, and the owner hopes it can lead to an arrest.
The owner of Our Stuff, a boutique in Levelland, tells us that she just installed new security equipment last week.
"When I find empty hangers, that just makes me feel like I let my guard down and it makes me mad at myself," Shanna Saunders, owner of Our Stuff, says. "So, that's why we invested in a whole new system to cover everything."
She says she's owned this store for 23 years.
"This is my livelihood," she says. "I spend more hours here, 14 to 16 hours a day - this is where I live and this is what I do. This is how I feed my family."
So, when she saw these two women walk into her store and leave just a few moments later...
"Just something in my gut said it didn't add up, so I reviewed the video," she explains.
She says she saw one woman taking clothes off the racks and stuffing it into her bag and leaving the store without paying for those items.
According to the police report, the woman stole a shirt and a pair of sunglasses, which is over $100 worth of merchandise.
No arrests have been made at this time.
Saunders tells us once she posted the surveillance video on her store's Facebook page, she was told an item may have been posted for sale on a Facebook garage site.
"It infuriates me, because I give so much, all of the time and there's so many people in need and I've helped so many people out," she says. "To just come in here and take something that's not theirs - it just really makes me mad."
But Saunders says she is grateful for all of the public's help.
"Thank you, thank you to everybody," Saunders says. "It's all of us helping each other. I think that's what we've got to do is stick together."
If you have any information on this crime, you are urged to call the Levelland Police Department at (806) 894-6164.
