Lubbock ISD holding community meetings to explain new bond package
LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - Lubbock ISD wants to help voters understand its proposed bond package.
The district’s first community bond information session is underway at Atkins Middle School tonight.
This is the first of four sessions planned.
The district hopes the meetings will answer questions about the $290 million bond proposal that will appear on May ballots.
That package will help the district improve safety and security and renovate facilities, among other projects.
If you couldn’t make it tonight, other sessions are planned over the next three weeks.

March 26, 2025 - 6 p.m. at Atkins Middle School 5401 Avenue U
March 31, 2025 - 6 p.m. at Dunbar College Preparatory Academy 2010 E 26th St
April 3, 2025 - 6 p.m. at Hutchinson Middle School 3102 Canton Ave
April 14, 2025 - 6 p.m. at Irons Middle School 5214 79th St
